Dixon Park
Location: Bartlett (5727 Woodlawn Road)
Directions: From Stage Rd go North on Court St. for about one block.
Parking: Parking spaces on Court Street and Woodlawn Road.
Play Equipment: steel play structure, swings (2 baby, 4 regular)
Play Surface: Wood Chips
Exposure: Not shaded.
Other facilities: Washrooms, Picnic Table under Gazebo
Comments: Opened in 2000.


Ellendale Park
Location: Bartlett (3800 Greenleaf)
Directions: From Stage Rd go North-East on Summer Ave for approx. 1/2 a mile, North on Oak Road for approx. 1 mile, East on Cedar Road and North on Greenleaf.
Parking: The parking lot is only accessible from the South side of the park. (follow directions above)
Play Equipment: steel play structure
Play Surface: Wood Chips
Exposure: Partial shade.
Other facilities: Washrooms, Picnic tables.
Comments: Small playground, a bit isolated during the week.


Madison Arthur Byrd Park
Location: Bartlett (3400 Summerdale)
Directions: From Stage Rd go North-East on Summer Ave for approx. 2 miles, then South on Summerdale for approx. 1/2 a mile.
Parking: Parking lot
Play Equipment: wooden play structure, swings (2 baby, 2 regular, 1 tire, 1 bench)
Play Surface: Wood Chips
Exposure: Not shaded.
Other facilities: Picnic tables.


*Municipal Center Park
Location: Bartlett (2975 Altruria Rd.)
Directions: From Stage Rd go North on Altruria. The parking lot is about 1/2 block North of Stage Rd.

Location: Bartlett (2629 Bartlett Blvd)
Directions: From Stage Rd go South on Bartlett Blvd for about 1/2 a mile. The entrance to the park is on the West side.

Yale Road Park
Location: Bartlett (6241 Yale Rd)
Directions: From Stage Rd go North on Bartlett Blvd for about 1 mile, West on Yale Road for about 1/2 mile. The park is on the South side of Yale Road between Venson Dr and Elmore Park.
Parking: Parking lot
Play Equipment: wooden play structures, swings (2 baby, 2 regular, 1 tire, several bench)
Play Surface: Wood Chips
Exposure: Not shaded.
Other facilities: 1/2 mile trail, small lake.


Cordova

*Bert Ferguson Park
Location: Cordova (on Trinity Rd)
Directions: From Germantown Pkwy go East on Trinity for less than a mile.
Parking: Parking lot
Play Equipment: 1 toddler and 1 regular steel play structures, swings (4 baby, 8 regular), balance beam, monkey bars and much more.
Play Surface: Rubber
Exposure: Not shaded. Tends to be windy. Dress children in layers for this park to avoid being too hot or too cold.
Other facilities: Picnic shelter, washrooms, trail
Comments: Opened May 2002.


Collierville

*H.W. Cox Jr. Park
Location: Collierville (350W Powell Rd)
Directions: From Poplar Ave W., go North on Byhalia for approx. 1 mile, then East on Powell for approx. 1/2 mile. The park entrance is on the North side.
Parking: Parking lot
Play Equipment: 1 toddler and 2 regular steel play structures
Play Surface: Sand
Exposure: Not shaded.
Other facilities: Picnic shelter, 1-mile trail
Comments: There is a baby area with 2 baby swings and some spring riders on the East side of the park about a 3 minute walk from the main playground.


Germantown

*Cameron-Brown Park
Location: Germantown (on Farmington Blvd)
Directions: From Germantown Pkwy go East on Farmington Blvd for approx. 2 miles. The park entrance is on the North side of Farmington.
Parking: There is a parking lot in front of each playground (it's approx. a 2 minute walk between the playgrounds).

Play Surface: Wood chips
Exposure: partial shade
Playground#2
Play Equipment: wooden play structure, swings (2 baby, 1 tire)
Play Surface: gravel
Exposure: shaded

*C.O. Franklin Park
Location: Germantown (on Melanie Smith Lane)
Directions: From Germantown Road, go East on Poplar Pike for 1/2 a mile, then South on Melanie Smith Lane.
Parking: Parking lot
Play Equipment: 1 toddler and 1 regular steel play structure, swings (1 baby, 3 low-to-the ground regular, 4 regular), sand pit (bring along sand toys).
Play Surface: Wood chips
Exposure: Not shaded.
Other facilities: Picnic tables, washrooms


*Howard-McVay Park
Location: Germantown (on McVay Road)
Directions: From Germantown Road, go 1 block West on Poplar, then 1 block South on West St, turn West on Poplar Pike and then South on McVay Road East.
Parking: Parking lot
Play Equipment: steel play structure, swings (2 horse, 1 chair, 1 bench), 4 spring riders.
Play Surface: Wood chips
Exposure: Shaded and Partially Shaded.
Other facilities: Covered picnic gazebo and small lake.


Johnson Road Park
Location: Germantown (on Johnson Road)
Directions: From Germantown Road, go West on Poplar for approx. 3-1/2 miles, then North on Johnson Rd for approx. 1/4 mile. The park is on the East side of Johnson Rd.
Parking: Parking lots next to each playground. 5 minute walk between playgrounds
Play Equipment: Both playgrounds have steel play structures.
Play Surface: Both have wood chips
Exposure: Both not shaded.
Other facilities: Washrooms, covered and uncovered picnic tables, trail, small lake.


*Germantown Municipal Park
Location: Germantown (on Exeter Road)
Directions: From Germantown Road, go 1 block East on Farmington, then 1/2 block North on Exeter. The park is between the Library and the Performing Arts Center.
Parking: Parking lot
Play Equipment: steel play structure, swings (2 baby, 2 regular, 1 bench), easy rock climbing wall.
Play Surface: Wood chips
Exposure: Shaded.
Other facilities: covered picnic area/gazebo, pond with ducks, sand volleyball area/ kids think it’s a big sandbox.


*Poplar Estates Park
Location: Germantown (at the North end of Poplar Estates Parkway)
Directions: From Germantown Road, go West on Neshoba for 1-1/2 miles, and North on Poplar Estates Parkway for 1 mile. The end of Poplar Estates Parkway is the entrance to the park.
Parking: Parking lot
Play Equipment: 1 toddler and 1 regular steel play structure, 2 spring riders, swings (2 baby, 2 regular)
Play Surface: Wood chips
Exposure: Shaded
Other facilities: Picnic tables (about a 2 minute walk from parking lot)
Comments: This playground has been renovated recently with all new steel play structures (2002).


Riverdale Park
Location: Germantown (between Neshoba Road and Riverdale Elementary School)
Directions: From Germantown Road, go West on Neshoba for approx 3/4 mile.
Parking: There is a wide gravel strip on Neshoba Rd intended for a Parking area.
Play Equipment: 1 toddler and 2 regular steel play structures, 2 spring riders, Swings (2 baby, 4 regular).
Play Surface: Wood chips
Exposure: Partially Shaded
Comments: Lots of playground equipment, however this playground is used by the school children at Riverdale Elementary on school days.
